CGPSC stands for the Chhattisgarh Public Service Commission exam which is conducted annually by the State Public Service Commission of Chhattisgarh to recruit the Grade A and Grade B officers in the various administrative branches of the state.
Just like the UPSC civil services exam which is conducted at the central level, the CGPSC exam, conducted at the state level by the Chhattisgarh Public Service Commission. The exam is taken in three stages for selecting prospective candidates- Preliminary exam, Mains, and Personality test (Personal Interview).

Prelims Paper II

CGPSC General Studies Syllabus
The Prelims question papers will be set in English and Hindi. The General Studies paper comprises of 100 questions for 200 marks. The time duration is 2 hours.

CGPSC Aptitude Test Syllabus

Essay Writing is divided into two sections namely; International and National Issues and Chhattisgarh State Issues.
Part A: International and National Issues
Candidates will have to write two essays on issues (Reason, present status, including data and solution) from this part. Four problems will be given in this part; the Candidate will have to write two essays on this part about 750-750 words. Each issue in this part will carry 50 marks.
