- The Candidates should be well-versed in the English language as well as any one of the official languages ie Assamese / Bengali / Bodo from the state of Assam. This is an exception for the candidates of Karbi Anglong Autonomous Council and Dima Hasao Autonomous Council.
- All the candidates are also required to attach supporting documents (language proof etc.) for the above-mentioned and they have to be self-attested.
