CG PET 2022 Application Form will be released in the month May – June 2022. Chhattisgarh Pre-Engineering Test (CG PET) is organized by the Chhattisgarh Professional Examination Board (CPEB). CG PET 2022 Application Form

Chhattisgarh Professional Examination Board (CPEB) will soon release the online application form of CG PET 2022. To participate in the entrance test, the candidates will have to submit the application form before the final date. The registration process will consist of filling in basic, academic and contact information along with paying the required fee.

• Step I- Exam Pre-Requisites: In the first step, the candidates will have to fill in information citing the exam for which they have applied.
• Step II – Enter Basic Information: Next, the candidates will have to enter their basic information such as name, parent’s name, gender, date of birth, category and more details.
• Step III- Uploading Scanned Documents: The scanned images of the candidate’s photograph and signature has to be scanned as per the guidelines mentioned by the authorities and uploaded.
• Step IV – Enter Contact Details: Candidates will have to enter their personal and communication details in CG PET 2022 application form.
• Step V – Selection of Exam Centre: Next, the candidates will have to select any three preferred exam cities of their choice.
• Step VI – Submission of Form: The form has to be carefully checked by the candidates and submitted.
• Step VII – Payment of Fee: Finally, the candidates will have to pay the application fee in online mode i.e., net banking/credit card/debit card.

CG PET 2022 Eligibility Criteria

Below is the eligibility criteria for candidates appearing in CG PET 2022:

Qualifying Examination:

• Candidates must have passed 10+2 or equivalent with Maths, Physics as compulsory subjects and Chemistry/ Biology/ Biotechnology/ Technical vocational courses as optional subjects.
• For BTech Biotechnology, aspirants should have studied Biology instead of Maths in their 10 + 2.

Pass Percentage:

• Candidates should have secured a minimum of 45% marks in each of the subjects in their Class 10+2 or equivalent.
• Reserved category aspirants from Chhattisgarh should have secured a minimum of 40% in their Class 10+2.
• Grace Marks: Candidates who have passed with grace marks will be considered eligible if they acquire the minimum pass percentage in each subject. It is important to note that grace marks will not be considered while computing the aggregate percentage for admissions.

Domicile Requirements:

• All candidates need to furnish residency proof.
• They must get the domicile certificate ready as proof of their residency. This will be required during counselling and admissions.

Age Limit:

• Candidates must not be more than 30 years of age as of July 1, 2022. 3-year relaxation is given to reserved category candidates. The minimum age limit is 17 years as of December 31, 2022.

• Candidates who have cleared JEE Main will also be considered eligible for seats earmarked for the same.

• MATHEMATICS- Algebra, integral calculus, linear programming, statistics, trigonometry, and vector algebra
• PHYSICS- Speed and velocity, electromagnetism, electric power, reflection refraction, wave nature of light and periodic motion
• CHEMISTRY- Equilibrium, chemical kinetics, chemical bond, the structure of atom, solutions, solid-state, thermodynamics, organic chemistry.

CG PET 2022 Answer Key

Candidates will be able to access the CG PET answer key 2022 online. The probable scores obtained by the candidates in the exam can be checked through the CG PET 2022 answer. Candidates will be able to raise objections against the provisional answer key. The objections have to be sent in the format mentioned by the authorities through email. The final CG PET answer key will be released after all of the objections are checked by the authorities.

CG PET 2022 Result

CPEB will announce the CG PET result 2022 online after the examination is conducted. Candidates will be able to check the scores and ranks that they have secured in the examination through the result. To access the CG PET result, the candidates will have to log in using the required credentials. Since the result will be required during the counselling session, the candidates are advised to download and print out the CG PET result.

CG PET 2022 Counselling

Qualified candidates will be able to participate in the counselling of CG PET 2022. DTE Raipur will conduct the counselling session in online mode and the candidates will be required to select their preferred colleges and courses. Allotment of seats will be done on the basis of the scores and preferences selected by the candidates. Selected candidates will have to pay the required fee and submit the documents before the final date to confirm their admission.

The following documents are required from an applicant for CG PET exam.

• 12^th class mark sheet as well as a certificate from the Chhattisgarh Board or Higher Secondary Board
• Category Certificate if the candidate belongs to OBC/SC/ST
