What is UPPSC PCS Examination

The UPPSC PCS issued a notification on 5 February 2021 for Umiwaro. And the candidates can fill the UPPSC application till 5 March 2021. This is with 400 total number of UPPCS vacancies. The UPPSC PCS Result was announced on 17 February 2019.

UPPSC PCS Age limit

The common age limits for all the positions are:

Minimum Age limit- 21 years

Maximum Age Limit – 40 years on July 1

The candidates born before 2 July 1981 and after 1 July 2000 are not eligible to appear in the UPPSC 2021 exam.

UPPSC PCS Application 2021

1. UPPCS Preliminary Examination

This preliminary exam is the first stage of the UPPCS selection process. The UPPSC Preliminary Examination is conducted in offline mode across the state and around eight lakh candidates appear in this examination.

On current events of international and national importance, candidates will be expected to receive information about them.

History of India and Indian National Movement

Efforts should be made to comprehensively understand the social, economic, and political aspects of Indian history. In this Indian national movement, the candidates will be expected to have a similar view about the nature and character of the freedom movement, the development of nationality, and the attainment of freedom.

India and world geography – physical and economic geography, social, of India and the world

Only a general understanding of the subject will be expected in world geography. This question on the geography of India should be related to the physical, social, and economic geography of India.

Indian polity and governance

Constitution, a form of government, Panchayati raj, public policy, rights issues, etc.: – In Indian politics, economy, and culture, the questions will test the knowledge of the country’s form of government, including Panchayati raj and community development, of India and policy in India. Comprehensive Features Culture.

Economic and social development

Sustainable Development, Poverty, Inclusion, Demography, Social Sector Initiatives, etc.: – Candidates are going to be tested about the issues and relationships between population, environment, and urbanization.

Questions on general science will cover general appreciation and understanding of science, including matters of everyday observation and knowledge, as could be expected from an informed one that has not made a special study of any science.

General issues on environmental ecology, biodiversity, and global climate change that don’t require subject expertise. General awareness of the topic is predicted from the candidates.

General Studies Paper-II Syllabus

It is a qualifying paper only and candidates will need to get minimum passing marks to pass this paper. The minimum qualifying marks are 66 out of 200. The list of subjects is as follows.
